FAQ's
Why should I feed fresh?
We believe that our pets shouldn’t just ‘survive’ off the dry kibble in their bowl. While many pet foods do contain the right balance of vitamins and nutrients to maintain your dogs health we think - they deserve tail wag, tongue lickin’ food.
Whether your dog is a picky eater, struggling with a particular health issue or perfectly healthy and willing to eat just about anything, we’ve seen first-hand the positive impact of feeding fresh to our own pups and our customers’.
Do I need to refrigerate the food?
Yes! Since we donʼt use any preservatives in our Fetch. recipes, itʼs essential that the food is stored at a safe temperature — but we make it as convenient to feed as possible. Our food arrives frozen, and should be stored in the freezer. When you're ready to use them, transfer a Fetch meal to the fridge to thaw, then open the pack and pour. Your doggie bag will include a guide on how to store and use the food properly.
How are Fetch meals made?
All of our ingredients are human-grade and sourced from reputable food suppliers, local farms, and grocery stores. We don’t process our ingredients to be shelf-stable because we don’t have to. We deliver the highest quality, most natural nutrients available.
Our meals are made with love in Warwick, Bermuda. Each Fetch. recipe is gently cooked at a low temperature. Then we quickly freeze them for safe delivery to your doggie door.
Since we package our meals on a convenient subscription your food is made fresh and never contains preservatives. Some dry dog foods sit on the dock for ages before it even makes it to the shelf. In our eyes, feeding Fetch. is a ‘get in my belly’ kinda deal.
Should I consult my vet?
Please do! We’ve sat down with local and overseas veterinarians to ensure our meals are safe. While many vets may debate over different food trends, most agree that fresh, nutritionally-balanced food is great for dogs. Our recipes are curated to fully replace a standard diet, but many dogs with a range of health issues are also doing great on our meals.
What if my dog doesn’t like the food?
If your dog doesn’t think it's ‘a greeze’ aka delicious, we can send you additional recipes to try, or you can opt for a refund if you donate the food to the local SPCA.
